just wanted to say how grateful I was for the feedback and kind words on my piece… I’m working on putting together TCK workshops/ a TCK English curriculum for international school kids right now, and it was so inspiring to hear your voices on ways that reading about other tck experiences is meaningful for you, too.

About Brittani Sonnenberg
Brittani Sonnenberg was raised across three continents and has worked as a journalist in Germany, China, and throughout Southeast Asia. A graduate of Harvard, she received her MFA in fiction from the University of Michigan. Her fiction has been published in The O'Henry Prize Stories 2008 and shortlisted in the Best American Short Stories 2004. In addition, her stories have appeared in Ploughshares, Short Fiction, X-Connect, and the Minnesota Monthly. Her nonfiction has appeared in Time, the Associated Press, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and National Public Radio. Her first novel, Home Leave, is coming out from Grand Central in Summer 2014. Sonnenberg has taught creative writing at the University of Michigan, Carleton College, and the University of Hong Kong, and offers TCK-themed writing workshops for international schools.
